Happy November!

Hi everyone, it's been a while so I have months to catch up on... So here ya be...

Look! Another me!
Bench
The few sunny days we had were lovely this summer.
MmmSand
Everyday it was sunny we would go down to Sandycove beach.
SitBeach
There we would make sandcastles and play in the sand.
BeachReady
On particularly hot days we would have to cover up well. Especially as I still have no hair!
MmmSandy
Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. You could eat all the sand though...

Crawler
While I have perfected my crawling, I have yet to take my first steps unaided.

The Big 1.0

Hi Everyone,

So I am the One. "Neo" per se. For my first birthday I thought it was important to max out the good will of everybody, especially Mummy and Daddy, so I organised my birthday over 2 weekends (Stephen Gibson would be proud). So here are all the pics from my frivolous fortnight of fun frolicking festivities!
PrettyDress
My first present was from my godmother Niamh, and it was a beautiful new dress for me to wear for my party a whole week before my actual birthday!
Cakes
Before everyone arrived I made sure Mummy and Daddy got the house ready and then laid on a selection of chocolates, flapjacks, chocolate buttons and jellies for my "guests" — the salad was Mummy's idea.
Brian
Hazel and Faye's Dad, Brian, joined the party before they all headed for the USA next weekend.
Daddy
Daddy took nearly 5 mins to tell me the names of all the people who came for my party. There were so many people there and with all my friends there too it was a very noisy affair!
Handy
I had heard so much about "pass the parcel" at parties. It took me an hour or two to realise I was the parcel and everyone wanted to hold me on the day! I did get an awful lot of cards and presents though too.
Thanks everyone for coming and my cards and pressies too!!
Godmother
My godmother Niamh at one point wanted to borrow my dress for a party she was going to the following weekend, until we agreed that green wasn't really her colour!
Video
To get over our chocolate hangovers, myself and Eilbhe watched the video of my party the next day with Mummy and Daddy. We weren't feeling great but Mummy and Daddy must have had a lot of chocolate at the party!
Toys
Cut to a week later and it was my actual birthday. More presents...! :)
BigTruck
Eilbhe helped me open all my presents and play with them too. She bought me this big truck. It came with a hammer though, if Mummy and Daddy knew Eilbhe had got this for me I think they would have confiscated it! Luckily Eilbhe wrapped it before they could see it.
2ndCake
And you thought I was surprised at getting a second birthday cake!? For a minute I thought I was 2 already until I counted the candles.
Window
My godfather, Alan, called around this afternoon. Within an hour of him arriving I was standing up much more than I had ever done.
Walking
Two hours later and I was walking with my walker. First steps on my first birthday!
Bath
To top the night off I had a big bath with Eilbhe. It was the best day(s) ever!

Thanks everyone for all your cards and gifts. Can't wait till I am 2 next year. Must see if I can get three weekends out of it!!!

Holidays!

BWSmile
Hi all,

We had a great time on our holiday in Praia de Luz in Portugal. The weather was really nice throughout and we only had two really hot days which was lucky as the day we left it was going to hit 40 degrees Celsius and was going to be like that all week!

The apartment we stayed in was really nice. All the modern appliances pleased Daddy and Mummy loved the nice view from the balcony which got lots of sun in the evenings while myself and Eilbhe slept!

Zen
I wasn't a big fan of the cold sea so while Eilbhe played I did some Yoga to start the day off.
Liga
I finally figured out what to do with that Liga that Mummy kept giving me!
Fly
While out and about in the pram I got to wear Eilbhe's cool shades now and again.
Floater
After a few days I got used to the pool and loved going around in my floater. It was great fun and very wet!
Lunch
Lunch by the pool was very tasty. They served really nice bottles!

Here comes the sun!

BigEyes
Hi Everyone!
Hope you are all well. It has been a very busy month with many people coming over to visit me. I am getting better and better at sitting up and Mummy is now making me a range of different dinners and they are all proving to be rather yummy! Got to start practicing my crawling next!

LittleRichard
Richard visited from Amsterdam and we went out for some lovely walks and spent most of the time in the garden!

Eilbhe&Dad
Daddy, Eilbhe and I had great fun watching the semi-finals of the Champions league. Should be a great final. Hope I can stay awake for the second half!

GodFather
Uncle Alan came over from London and I was delighted to find out that he is also my Godfather!

Chaz&Morg
Morgan and Charlotte visited from Wexford too. Next time I hope to have a game of football with them and Eilbhe!
That's all for now. Will blog you all with an update soon. Mummy and Daddy are taking lot's of video of me, but I am a bit camera shy and don't like talking on camera yet.

Happy Easter

Howdy all!

Well it's been a very busy few weeks since I last talked to you all. I am getting better at rolling and can nearly roll the whole way over! I have started to eat solids and finally I am 100% on the bottle! I now even go to bed quietly at 7pm and sleep through till 7am! Mummy and Daddy seem especially pleased with this development.

Wexford
For Paddy's weekend we rented a lovely cottage down in Wexford...
Beach
...we went for lots of walks because the weather was so nice and I got to play in the sand for the first time ever! It was great.
Sitting
I am practicing my sitting up every day now. I really like it. Although at the moment it's still a good idea to have some 'training' cushions surrounding me!

Spoon Feeding!
